A staple of the plastics and rubber industries, Class 5.2 organic peroxides are highly unstable. They need to be stored well away from processing and handling areas, and even further from heat sources and incompatible materials. Another tip – storing them near a door is not a good idea, as they could cut-off the exit in an emergency.
