The Challenge
At the NZ Agritrade Distribution Centre, maintaining a high standard of spill preparedness is critical due to the nature of hazardous substances handled on site.
During a routine spill kit audit, several kits were identified as understocked, creating a potential gap in emergency response capability. In high-risk environments, even minor deficiencies in spill response readiness can result in:
- Delayed containment of hazardous substance spills
- Increased risk to worker safety and the environment
- Non-compliance with internal safety protocols and external regulations
The site required a fast, reliable replenishment solution to restore full operational readiness without disrupting day-to-day activities.
