Suited to smaller cabinets, this specialist fire suppression system is triggered when flames from a Lithium-ion battery fire reach the cabinet’s activation wires. Micro-sized potassium salts, suspended in a blend of inert gases, suppress the fire by inhibiting combustion. It may not put the fire out entirely but it’s a really good way to at least significantly slow what can be an explosive situation.
